The paper deals with the tenets of feminism immanent within the oral narratives, rhetorical traditions,
folklores, folktale and culture of the Yakthung/Limbu tribe inhabiting the Himalayan belt, defying the
dichotomy of sexes in Western narratives of the society at a universal level.
